Princess Sofia of Sweden has started working as a health assistant at Sofiahemet Hospital in Stockholm. However, she will not be directly involved in the treatment of corona-infected patients. Instead, she will help doctors, nurses, and medical staff along with non-medical work. For this, Sophia has also taken three days of training.
The hospital is training 80 people every week. This includes cleaning, kitchen works. Sofia will do the same thing. She is also the Honorary President of this hospital. Regarding this, Sophia said- “How can I live in the palace when the people of my country are dying. That is why I am now in service to everyone.”
Sophia has been a model
Sofia, 35, was a model before becoming part of the royal family. She married Carl Philip in 2015. They have two children, Prince Alexander, and Prince Gabriel. Hospital pictures have also surfaced on Sophia’s first day. In this, she is seen with her colleagues in blue uniforms.
